We only manufacture camper van conversion modules for the vehicle types listed on our website and each module type that we produce has been very carefully designed with unique panel sizing and framework sizing to offer optimum fit for the intended vehicle only. Whilst it is possible that our modules may work in other vehicles, it is impossible for us to guess how much modification may be required to allow the module to function correctly. If you are interested in using a Simple camper van conversion module, you will need to purchase one of the vehicle types listed on our website. We kindly ask that you do not contact us to enquire about camper van conversion modules for vehicles that are not listed on our website.

Ebay is one of the UK’s most popular online marketplaces with hundreds of millions of visits to the site each month making it a great platform to help us to increase the online presence of our products. However, with Ebay charging business seller fees of over 20% for each purchase, we need to increase the prices of our Ebay listings to cover this additional expense. If you want to purchase a Simple camper van conversion module for the lowest price, then we recommend making your purchase through our website.

No. Simple camper van conversion modules are designed to integrate with your vehicle without the need for any vehicle modifications or fixings and you do not need to remove the rear seats to use the module. The vehicle’s rear seats are actually integral to the design of the module since they provide the support structure when the module is unfolded. To use the module in your vehicle, you just need to fold the back rest forward on each rear seat so that it rests on the seat base. We recommend reading the installation instructions page on our website for further information.
The rear seats can be removed if you are looking to increase storage space within the vehicle, but you will need to fabricate a simple wooden support structure or use sturdy storage boxes (plastic boxes with lids are a good solution) to replicate the rear seats so that the module is supported when unfolded. If you decide to use storage boxes, they will need to be the same height as the folded rear seats to ensure that the module platform remains flat when unfolded.
Our camper van conversion modules are designed to be used in standard passenger vehicles with rear seats fitted, however, our modules can usually be used in a Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle if the vehicle is returned to its original condition by removing the adaptations. Typically this will involve:
Removing the spare wheel from the boot (if it has been relocated here).
Removing the ramp and all the associated winches, belts and fixings.
Returning the boot floor to its original height by filling in the sunken centre section where the ramp was located.
Replacing the missing passenger seats; or supporting the module in the centre section when it is unfolded by using suitable storage boxes (sturdy plastic boxes with lids are a good solution) or by fabricating a simple wooden support structure to replicate the support that the rear seats would normally provide.
There are numerous different Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle styles and if you are unsure if your vehicle will be compatible, please send us some photographs (you can find our contact details on the contact page on our website) and we will happily advise you further regarding your specific vehicle. If you are yet to purchase a vehicle, we would advise buying a standard 5 seater passenger vehicle for best fit with our conversion modules.

Please note that our camper van conversion modules will not work in vehicles with:
3 front seats installed (unless the van is a LWB version).
A fixed bulkhead behind the front seats (although these can usually be removed).
A front passenger seat that does not have backrest adjustment, meaning that the seat is either upright or flat and cannot be angled in between these 2 positions (unless the van is a LWB version).
Less than 1150mm between the wheel arches if ply-lined.

Crew vans are commercial van style vehicles, but with rear seats fitted. Citroen Berlingo MK2 2008-2018, Fiat Doblo MK2 2010-2020, Mercedes Citan 2012-2020, Peugeot Partner MK2 2008-2018 and Renault Kangoo MK2 2009-2020 crew vans are normally compatible with our camper van conversion modules, however, please contact us to check your vehicle prior to ordering.
It is important to note that it would be easy for us to build and advertise module lengths of between 180-190cm for our Standard Modules, but this is not the best engineering solution. A platform that is too long will snag on the vehicle interior: it will be pushed directly against the front seats making it harder to unfold in addition to causing unnecessary wear on the seats, and the tailgate is likely to slam against the module when it is pushed closed. Our product designer (Sheffield University, Mechanical Engineering, BEng Hons.) designs our modules with a gap of ~5cm between the module and the front seats and the same ~5cm gap between the module and the tailgate in order to optimise the functionality of the module.
Small Modules (2 person full-width for the Citroen Nemo, Fiat Qubo, Peugeot Bipper) are 1625mm in length when unfolded for sleeping or 1670mm with the optional cushion set.
Standard Modules (2 person full-width for the Citroen Berlingo, Fiat Doblo, Ford Tourneo Connect, Mercedes Citan, Opel Combo Life, Peugeot Partner, Peugeot Rifter, Renault Kangoo, Vauxhall Combo Life, VW Caddy Life) are 1730mm in length when unfolded for sleeping or 1775mm with the optional cushion set.
XL Modules (2 person full-width for the Citroen Berlingo MK3 XL, Ford Grand Tourneo Connect, Opel Combo Life XL, Peugeot Rifter XL, Vauxhall Combo Life XL, VW Caddy Maxi Life) are 1880mm in length when unfolded for sleeping or 1925mm with the optional cushion set.
Skoda Modules (2 person full-width for the Skoda Roomster, Skoda Yeti and Skoda Karoq) are 1730mm in length when unfolded for sleeping or 1800mm with the optional cushion set.
We would advise you that it is unusual to sleep completely stretched out and taller users can stretch out by placing their feet between the front seats of the vehicle when lying down, or folding the front seat/s flat if your vehicle offers this feature. We recommend sleeping with your feet facing the front of the vehicle to maximise vehicle space and make entry/exit through the side doors easier. Your pillow will also cover the ~5cm gap between the module and the tailgate when sleeping as recommended.
Small Modules (2 person full-width for the Citroen Nemo, Fiat Qubo, Peugeot Bipper) are 26kg.
Standard Modules (2 person full-width for the Citroen Berlingo, Fiat Doblo, Ford Tourneo Connect, Mercedes Citan, Opel Combo Life, Peugeot Partner, Peugeot Rifter, Renault Kangoo, Vauxhall Combo Life, VW Caddy Life) are 30kg.
XL Modules (2 person full-width for the Citroen Berlingo MK3 XL, Ford Grand Tourneo Connect, Opel Combo Life XL, Peugeot Rifter XL, Vauxhall Combo Life XL, VW Caddy Maxi Life) are 34kg.
Skoda Modules (2 person full-width for the Skoda Roomster, Skoda Yeti and Skoda Karoq) are 23kg.
All weights listed are for the wooden module only and exclude the cushion set.
Yes. Our custom designed camper van cushion sets are manufactured from 80mm deep high quality, medium density foam and feature no-slip covers that grip the wooden module surface to prevent sliding in use. The black covers are sewn with L-shaped zips to make them very easy to remove for cleaning and are machine washable. You can find our full range of camper van cushion sets on the cushion set page on our website.
Yes. We offer thermal window blind sets for every vehicle that we produce a camper van conversion module for. You can find our full range of thermal window blind sets on the window blinds page on our website. Our thermal window blinds fix to the windows using easily removable suction cup attachments and are manufactured in the UK using a high quality 3-layer construction: a reflective foil coated exterior layer helps to reduce excess heat build-up inside the vehicle, an internal air pocket system helps to keep the interior cooler on warm days or warmer on cooler days, and a black polyester damp resistant interior lining helps to reduce condensation.
If you wish to coat your module to increase the water resistance and/or to protect the module surface from spillages and stains we recommend using Osmo PolyX Oil 3062 Clear Matt. Osmo PolyX Oil uniquely combines the advantages of natural plant oils and waxes in one product and is stain-resistant, water repellent and abrasion-resistant. Osmo products can be purchased from many hardware stores or online at Wood Finishes Direct. A 375ml tin will provide full coverage.
Alternatively, you can also use any suitable wood paint or wood varnish but please note that applying any product (and in particular, gloss products) to the surface of the module may reduce the friction between the module surface and the cushion set, causing the cushion pieces to slide in use.
